How cute is this little guy! Blueberries are not actually one of the fruits that I enjoy, but I love the look of crocheted ones! I am so happy how he turned out, that I had to write up this pattern for you all to enjoy! The blueberry looks so adorable, I had to make several! This bubbly blueberry, like the rest of the mini patterns, is a quick and easy pattern to crochet up. The pattern for the blueberry can be made bigger or smaller depending on the size of hook and yarn you use to crochet it up.

Materials-

  1. Worsted weight yarn
  2. Blue and black thread
  3. Hook size 3.5mm (E)
  4. 6mm Safety Eyes, or an alternative form of eyes
  5. Stitch Marker
  6. PolyFill
  7. Tapestry Needle
  8. Scissors
  9. Sewing Pins

US Abbreviations-

  1. Rd(s)- Round(s)
  2. MR- Magic Ring
  3. Sc- Single Crochet
  4. St(s)- Slip Stitch(s)
  5. Inc- Increase
  6. Dec- Invisible Decrease – In front loops only pick up the next two loops, yarn over, and pull through twice.
  7. P- Picot
  8. FO- Fasten Off

Notes-

  1. Magic Ring Alternative – chain 2 and single crochet in the second chain from the hook.
  2. This will be crocheted in the round, no slip stitch and no chain.
  3. If not specified or in () repeat to the end of the round.
  4. Stuff as you go.

Blueberry-

Rd 1: 6 sc in MR

Rd 2: inc (12)

Rd 3: sc, inc (18)

Rds 4-6: sc around (18) (3 rounds)

Rd 7: sc, dec (12) insert the eyes between rds 4 and 5 about 4 sts apart.

Rd 8: dec (6)

Rd 9: FLO (p, sl st in the next st)

FO. To close, slip the needle through the BLO.
