This little cutie was inspired by a couple of pictures! I just love watermelon, so I had to try and make one into a bee! The Watermelon Bee pattern is a quick crocheted make and gives a new and wonderful take on the traditional yellow/black bee. I hope you will have fun with this free and easy crochet pattern. Who would have thought that a bee could also be a watermelon and look so cute? This pattern for the bee can be made bigger or smaller depending on the size of hook and yarn you use to crochet it up. Well actually let’s talk a little bit more about this adorable Watermelon Bee, shall we? This cute little crochet bee came about when I was first starting to design I was trying to make a bunch of minis and I really wanted to make a bunch of amigurumi that were a mix of fruit and animals. I think this was the only one I actually made. I think I should make more… Hmm… I’ll have to ponder that some more. Ok. So if you have been following me for any length of time you may have started to realize that I love watermelon so of course watermelon had to be the first part of this fruit-animal fusion! So I had seen lots of cute little bees and as a new designer that seemed like an easy first try at designing. So here we are with this adorable little crochet Watermelon Bee amigurumi. He fits in the palm of your hand it’s just so precious!!
