You will first find a little bit about each designer and their design. You will find the schedule for the CAL and how the CAL will work. The CrochetWizzard- Cydnee Hepworth
Cydnee has been designing since 2019. Her first design was an Easter set and things have just grown from there! She designs to create cute toys for her adorable sons that she loves with all her heart! She is working to continue to grow her business. One way she is growing her business is by hosting fun CAL’s like this one! She hopes that one day she can support her family with her crochet.
Her design is Penny the Hedgehog. Penny is a sweet little hedgehog that is new to this world and she can’t wait to start this adventure with you all! She loves flowers and always has to be wearing a flower behind her ear. With Penny’s pattern, the only thing you sew on is her sweet flower! You don’t need to sew on the ears, feet, or tail! How fun is that! The stitch to make the quills can be a little tricky if you are a beginner though. Just as a heads-up.

I’m Kate and I crochet! I love crocheting amigurumis!
The hook is in my hands since I was 6 years old. I have a son, a husband, a cat, and a dog. I love fantasy, good music, and a glass of homemade red wine. I live in the magical crochet world. I am glad that I am surrounded by like-minded people. I am sure that the magic of crochet will help to make this world a little better.
Miss Dolly is sweet and gentle and as springy as the earliest spring. This is how I see and feel this little lamb. The spring sun is already shining, but it is not yet warm enough to take off the hat and scarf.

Pocket Yarnlings- Zhang Huipei
Hi, I’m Huipei from Pocket Yarnlings! I’m a practicing family physician hailing from sunny Singapore, mother to a 3-year-old daughter, and an avid self-taught crocheter for the past 7 years. I enjoy working with miniature amigurumis and am a huge geek, often drawing inspiration from various geeky characters. Of late, most of my inspiration mostly comes from my daughter and her toy preferences! When I’m not playing with my daughter or seeing patients, I sometimes indulge in crocheting little yarnlings and making stop motion animations of them.
This little Spring Squirrel is ready to come out and play. She works up really fast and has minimal sewing components with most parts only needing crocheting! Try out her snout and body shaping techniques and take her out to play!

This is a CAL or Crochet Along, where we will as a group make each of these patterns together at the same time at our own locations. This however is a collaborative CAL where there are 3 patterns to enjoy instead of just 1! How amazing is that!! 3 times the fun!! Don’t worry we have a super fun little image that has a schedule for the duration of each pattern below.

- MR- Magic Ring

- Sl St- Slip Stitch
- Ch- Chain
- Sst- Same Stitch
- The sts in the () are done in the same st
- Spst- Separate Stitches
- The sts in the () are done in separate sts
- Sc- Single Crochet- Normal St
- Hdc = half double crochet
- Dc = double crochet
- 2sc1 = single crochet increase (2sc means 2 single crochet in same st)
- Sc2tog1 = single crochet decrease
- Dc2tog1 = double crochet decrease
- P- Picot- Ch 4, sl st in the 4th ch from the hook.
- Bscp- Brown Single Crochet Picot
- a normal single crochet with a ch 4 picot.
- Fsc- Foundation Single Crochet
- Ch 2 (for this pattern you will only ch 1), *insert hook into 2nd ch from hook (into the ch), YO, pull through ch, YO, pull through 1 loop to create the ch, YO, and pull through all 2 loops, repeat from * for the desired number of sts, but insert hook into the ch created before.

- Tc- Triple Crochet

- incDC -increase of dc// 2dc worked into one st
- Dec- Invisible Decrease- Normal St
- In front loops only pick up the next two loops, yarn over, and pull through 2 loops.
- Bdecp- Brown Invisible Decrease Picot
- invisible dec with a ch 4 picot. Make sure all the p are on the outside.
- FO- Fasten Off
- FLO- Front Loop Only- for closing up holes.

Here are some of the upcoming events on the books for our designers so far! @crochetwizzard has an amazing CAL coming up on March 9th in the Facebook group, Crochet-A-Long with Us! This will be a Luck of the Irish Fluttering CAL! So make sure you join this group! In April she will probably have a solo CAL that she hasn’t decided what the theme is. She also does CAL’s every month so make sure you are following the CrochetWizzard for all her fun. All 3 of the designers are always coming out with new designs, so make sure you are following all of them! So stay tuned for all of these amazing events coming up!
